Why a blog?

Nathan and I have enjoyed the hobby of overlanding for our entire marriage! Over the years we have experienced different vehicle builds, destinations, and types of trips. We have spent hours scouring the internet for helpful information. When we started overlanding, no one seemed to be familiar with the concept. However, overlanding really took off during the pandemic as people sought travel that prioritized the great outdoors and were able to work remotely. Suddenly, overlanding caught on and people started creating content about it… and it was awesome! For us, it was somewhat unrelatable - these people were traveling full time. Their vehicle builds were probably worth more than our house and everything in it! And that’s great, but that’s not where we are in life. We noticed a lack of content for casual overlanders. And to be honest - we don’t have the time or energy to run a youtube page at this time, so we will be sharing stories about our trips and helpful overlanding information in blog form!
